Obituary of Larry Harvey

Laurence "Larry" W. Harvey, age 63 of Mainesburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at UPMC Wellsboro. Laurence was born June 13, 1961 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Gordon and Roberta (Robbins) Harvey. He worked in maintenance at HMAC in Lawrenceville, PA and was a member of the Mainesburg United Methodist Church. Larry was an American war historian and enjoyed genealogy. Larry is survived by his mother, Roberta Harvey of Mainesburg, PA; brothers Alan R. and Christopher A. Harvey of Mainesburg; sister-in-law Rebecca Harvey of Covington; nieces Jessica (Samuel) Jackson and Jennifer Harvey; great-nieces Lacy Harvey, Eloise Jackson, and Lily Eaton; and great-nephew Aspen Jackson. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Harvey in 2017, and father Gordon Harvey in 2020. A Celebration of Life with a dish to share will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Smith Park in Mainesburg.
