Obituary of Keith Edward Preston

Keith Edward Preston, age 66 of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Keith was born on October 28, 1957, a son of William Preston and Patricia (Brennan) Brackley. He was the owner/operator of three retail grocery stores in Tioga County. Prior to owning the stores, Keith worked for Lane construction for many years, and after his retirement worked for Lowes. He was a member of the F&AM Lodge #373 in Tioga, PA, the Moose Lodge in Elkland, and Sons of the Legion in Campbell NY. Keith was the Tioga borough president for many years and enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach with his wife, Julie. He loved to golf with his buddies in Myrtle Beach and at River Valley Golf Course in Westfield, PA. Keith is survived by his wife, Julie (Heck) Preston; daughters, Heather Preston of Lawrenceville, PA and Vicky (David Wilcox) Hyde of Tioga, PA; son, Kyle (Erika) Preston of Lawrenceville, PA; grandchildren, Payton, Korbyn, Dallas, Walker, Austyn, Alyxanndria, Karson, Karter, Grayson, and Delaney; brother, William Preston of Tioga, PA; and mother-in-law, Sandy Heck of Tioga, PA. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Kevin Michael Preston, his parents, stepfather Jack Brackley, and father-in-law, James Heck. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A Masonic service will be held on Monday at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. An additional viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 13 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Harry Dow officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Tioga, PA.
