Obituary of Rosemary A. McKissick
Rosemary A. McKissick, age 88 of Middlebury Center, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Broad Acres nursing home in Wellsboro, PA. Rosemary was born April 13, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of Francis and Alice (McGrane) McCullough. She worked in the billing department at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Rosemary was a member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Wellsboro, PA, and enjoyed spending time with her family, her cat Lily, crossword puzzles, going to the beach, traveling, and playing solitaire on her Kindle.
Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Terry-Ann (Donald) Kohler of Middlebury Center, PA and Mary-Ellen (David) Rhodes of Montoursville, PA; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert McKissick, son, Robert McKissick Jr., granddaughter Stephanie Johnson, great-granddaughter Teagan Kohler, and brother Bernard McCullough.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A celebration of life memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Barbara Kohler officiating.
