Obituary of David A. Lozo
David A. Lozo, age 46, of Gillett, PA, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. David was born November 12, 1961 in Urbana, NY, the son of Kenneth, Sr. and Ursula (Sumnik) Lozo. He was the husband of Debi (Mahnke) Lozo whom he married on November 1, 1986. David enjoyed his occupation as a tool maker. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed Harleys and riding motorcycles, tinkering with cars and lawn mowers, and the outdoors. Davids great sense of humor will be greatly missed.
David is survived by his wife, Debi; two sons, David DJ (finace, Kim Boom) Lozo, Jr., Dylan Lozo, both of Gillett, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Trinadonna and Robert Friends of Millerton, PA; two grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua; his father, Kenneth Lozo, Sr. of Addison, NY; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth, Jr. and Linda Lozo of Ft. Wayne, IN, Thomas and Wendy Lozo of Thurston, NY, James and Brenda Lozo of Addison, NY, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. David was preceded in death by his mother, Ursula.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA 16933. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 3:00 P.M. the funeral home with the Rev. Duane Johnson, and the Rev. Harold Burrell officiating.
