Obituary of Ernestine C. Kriner-Borden

Ernestine C. Kriner-Borden, age 94 of Morris Run, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at her home. Ernestine was born February 10, 1930 in Morris, PA, a daughter of Stanley and Blanch (Zuchowski) Patt. She married Robert Kriner in 1947, and after his death in 2012, Ernestine married Robert Borden. She worked as a custodian at Mansfield University and enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She also sang and played in several country bands. Ernestine is survived by her sons, Donald (Kay) Kriner of Burnsville, NC, Larry (Jan) Kriner of Trucksville, PA, and Joseph (Kathleen) Kriner of Covington, PA; 6 grandchildren, Stephanie, Michelle, Chris, Angela, Tim, and Jessie; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a grandson, Marty Kriner, and siblings Stanley, Paul, Mary, Gertrude, Theresa, and Regina. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 10, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA.
