Obituary of Marshall L. Hamilton
Marshall L. Hamilton, age 89, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at his home. He was born on April 30, 1934 in Rutland Township, PA, a son of Stanley and Ascha (Garrison) Hamilton. Marshall was married to the late Nancy Hamilton. He was self-employed as a farmer, drove for BeST Transit (EMTA), and served as Rutland Township supervisor. Marshall was a member of Roseville United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Big Elm Fire Department serving as a long-time treasurer and fire police captain. He enjoyed hunting, riding snowmobile, and family.
Marshall is survived by his son, Mark (Kristin) Hamilton of Millerton, PA; daughter, Sandra Hamilton-Ziegler (Greg) of Millerton, PA; stepson, Duane Terrell (Nikki) Kinsman of Bow, NH; two stepdaughters, Cathy (Jim) Jamieson of Horseheads, NY, and Connie ( Rich) Hirsh of Washington, PA; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a special friend, Cindy Cline of Millerton, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife; two brothers, Wyllis and Mason James "Jim" Hamilton; and two sisters, Phyllis Hamilton and Doris Grinnell.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Jobs Corners Cemetery in Millerton, PA.
