Obituary of Melvin D. King

Melvin D. King, age 86, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Bradford Hills in Troy, PA. He was born on March 9, 1938 in Knoxville, PA, a son of Leland and Mary (Davis) King. Melvin was married to Donna K. King. He was a lift truck driver for Borden Eagle Family Foods. Melvin was a lifetime member of Arnot Sportsmen's Club and enjoyed hunting. Melvin is survived by his wife, Donna; three daughters, Carol, Karen, and Denise; two stepsons, Kevin and Danny; a daughter-in-law, Pam; two sisters, Margery Bergh, and Linda Cochran; one brother, Gary King; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three special great grandchildren, Silas, Calvin, and Brecken; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jeff and Kathleen Evans. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eldon; sister, Sandra Trowbridge; and brother-in-law, Wayne Trowbridge. In honoring Melvin's wishes, there will be no services.
