Obituary of Robert Cowan

Robert "Jug" Cowan, age 68 of Covington, PA, passed away March 25th 2024 at home, surrounded by family. Robert was born December 31, 1955 in Wellsboro, PA, a son to Edgar and Gertrude (Harer) Cowan. He drove truck for B&D Transport for 36 years, later becoming an owner/operator doing truck transportation. Robert enjoyed maintaining a small farming operation when home, watching all the old western movies he could find, collecting anything Case tractor related, hunting, and being the biggest fan of any sport his granddaughter, Junie, was involved in. Robert is survived by his partner Susie Beckwith, daughter Desiree Cowan, son Jarrod Cowan, granddaughter Junie Cowan, sister Carol Pratt, brother Jerry Cowan, best friend Rich Priset and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers William Cowan and Larry Cowan. In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no services.
