Obituary of James Krebs

James Krebs, age 89 of Tioga, PA, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with chronic kidney disease. James was born February 8, 1935, in Renovo PA, a son of Joseph and Anna (Zerbe) Krebs. He served in the Army and later worked as a shipping and receiving supervisor for Ingersoll Rand, which later became Dresser Rand, in Painted Post, NY. James enjoyed golfing, bowling, road trips and spending time with his granddaughter Mackenzie. James is survived by his sons, Jamie (Christine) Krebs of Horseheads, NY, and Gary Krebs of Painted Post, NY; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Krebs of Hornell, NY; and a sister, Gloria Allen, of Baltimore, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gayle, and sisters Leona Chase and Betty Tolomei. In honoring James' wishes there will be no services. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at the North Bend Cemetery in Renovo, PA.
