Obituary of Winifred A. Fairbanks

Winifred "Winnie" A. Fairbanks age 77 of Mainesburg, PA died at her home on Thursday, March 14, 2024. She was born on December 12, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of Charles Warren and Anna (Reilly) Fairbanks. Winnie retired from the Philadelphia Police Station in 2002 where she had been a police officer. She enjoyed dogs and dog training. Winnie is survived by a niece in-law, Sandra Pitera of Clayton, NJ, a great nephew, Justin Pitera, and a brother-in-law, William Rakus of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Joan Rakus, and a nephew, Dominick "Nick" Pitera. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at Winnie's home.
