A memory I, Ted’s oldest sister Carol, want to share is the unique photo of my wedding which included all of my nine siblings playing official parts in the wedding ceremony. My groom’s family in Kansas was unable at the time to attend our New York State ceremony. So, Ted accepted being Ron’s Best Man, oldest brother Jim took our deceased father’s place and escorted me down the church aisle, and my three other brothers, Larry, Randy and Michael were Ron’s Groomsmen. Ted’s son, Ted Jr., was the Ring Bearer. Ted’s wife, Barbara and my four sisters, Sally, Peggy, Pat and Pam were my Bridesmaids and Flower Girl.
The photo was taken almost fifty-eight years ago and is the only known one taken where all ten siblings were together. I am forever grateful to God for facilitating it.
I loved my handsome big brother, Ted, who was a good guy, (even though he teased me mercilessly while growing up), and I hope to re-unite with him in Glory one day.
