Obituary of Patricia Ann VanZile

Patricia Ann VanZile, age 83, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at UPMC Cole Hospital in Coudersport, PA. She was born on January 20, 1941 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Reed and Dortha (Youngs) Cummings. Patricia was married to the late Elwin Elmer VanZile who passed away on September 17, 2017. She enjoyed reading, cooking, computer games, her animals, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Patricia is survived by her sons, Elwin "Les" (Mary) VanZile of Lexington, SC, and William "Bill" VanZile of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Lori (Terry Keith) Benson of Millerton, PA; eight grandchildren, Billy (Heather) VanZile, Jr., Michael (Kelsey) VanZile, Haley (David) Stearns, Holly VanZile, Jammie (Dan) Putnam, Steven (Maggie) Satterlee, Jay (MacKenna) Benson, and Cody Benson; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis (Walter Updyke) Knapp of Millerton, PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and daughter-in-law, Sherry VanZile. Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 9:00am -11:00am at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA.
