Obituary of Gregory A. Black

Gregory A. Black, age 64, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, surrounded by his family, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He was born on December 10, 1959, in Shreve, OH, a son of Zane and Carol Joy (Eason) Black. Gregory was married to Tammi (Graham) Black. He worked as a consultant for the oil and gas industry and was a member of the Elkland Moose #746. Gregory loved his work and enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, camping, visiting the Outer Banks, and spending time with his family. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all he met. Gregory is survived by his wife, Tammi; his father, Zane; sons, Caleb Black of Sioux Falls, SD, and Canyon (Brooke) Black of Brighton, CO; brothers, Mark (Valerie) Black, Joel "Bubba" (Patty) Black, and Jeremy "Jer-Jer" (Deanna) Black, all of Ohio; and several other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother. Friends and family are invited to call from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
