Obituary of Allen L. Beard

Allen L. Beard, age 60, of Osceola, PA, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Allen was born July 27, 1954 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Lyle and Barbara (Colvin) Beard. He is survived by his wife, Sandy (Hartman) Beard. He was employed by Corning Inc. In addition to his wife, Sandy, he is survived by a son, Donald Beard of Tuscarora, NY; 2 step-sons, Todd (Amy) Carr of Towanda, PA, Jason of Knoxville, PA; a daughter, Aaron Beard of Jasper, NY, a step-daughter, Tammy Smith of Elkland, PA; 2 brothers, Brian (Vickie) Beard and Walter (Patty) Beard, both of Osceola, PA; 2 sisters, Roseanne (John) Pratt and Nancy (Fred) Hallock, both of Corning, NY; several grandchildren.
