Obituary of Jon-Erik Vandall

Jon-Erik Vandall, age 57, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at home. He was born on November 7, 1966, in Providence, RI, the son of Richard and Maude "Inger" (Ljungqvist) Vandall. Jon worked as a sales representative at Marshall Distributing. He enjoyed motor cross, skiing, traveling, and technology. Jon is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Vandall of Montgomery, PA; his father, Richard Vandall; sister Elizabeth Vandall; niece Akasha Roth; his longtime companion, Lisa Guthrie of Mansfield and her children, Kimberly (Dean) Brown, Lauren (Elijah) Morgan; and many friends in the motorsports industry. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Wayne Adams; and Lisa's daughter, Kaela Guthrie. Everyone who knew Jon knew him as someone who was ready and willing to help, always generously giving of his time. Even through his illness, Jon was determined to remain productive and maintain a positive attitude. He continued to travel, spend time with family, and maintain valuable friendships. A private service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
