Obituary of Jack Edwin Wilson

Jack Edwin Wilson, age 72, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1951 in Asaph, PA, a son of John and Anna (Mason) Wilson. Jack was married to Linda (Morse) Wilson for 40 years. He was a heavy equipment operator for PennDOT for 32 years and was a member of the Church of the New Covenant. Jack also attended Victory Church. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing with his brother-in-law and best friend, Carl Morse, and children. Jack guided hunting and rafting down the Grand Canyon. Jack is survived by his wife, Linda; a son, Jamie Wilson of Canton, PA; two daughters, Brenda (Clifford) Matteson of Tioga, PA, and Anna (Jeremy) Watts of Erin, NY; and two sisters, Betty Weber of Wellsboro, PA, and Mary Wilson of Wellsboro, PA. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Wilson; three brothers, LeRoy, Elwood, and Jerry Wilson; and four sisters, Alice Bartholomew, Pat Ellis, Joyce Williamee, and Thelma Cleveland. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 4-5pm at Church of the New Covenant 310 Extension St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 5pm with Pastor Mark Scafidi officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to NCA Scholarship Fund.
