Obituary of Michael L. Emmick

Michael L. Emmick, Sr., age 68 of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Wellsboro. Michael was born March 7, 1955, in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Samuel and Patricia (Freeman) Emmick. He was a race car driver at Woodhull Raceway in Woodhull, NY, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, darts, the Buffalo Bills, parties, his dog Jim, and spending time with his family. Michael is survived by his daughters, Samantha Emmick of Winslow, AZ, and Michelle Emmick of Roulette, PA; grandchildren Colin, Searrah, Julia, Emma, Briana, and Marshall; brothers Donald Emmick of Nelson, PA, Darold (Candy) Emmick of Ulysses, PA, and Darren (Shannon) Emmick of Ulysses, PA; and sister Donna Emmick of Wellsboro, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol (Clark) Emmick, son Michael L. Emmick, Jr., grandson Skye Nelson, and sister Brenda Emmick.
