Obituary of Dennis Garner

Dennis Lee Garner, age 67, went home to be with the Lord on November 5th, 2023. He loved the Lord and served with a grateful heart and was always willing to help people in need. He was an ordained Pastor and former boxing coach for Mansfield University. He was also a graduate of Mansfield University. He loved the mountains where he often spent time. He was a hard-core Parcheesi player and won most of the time. He was your friendly Watkins dealer. He also enjoyed being with family. His best love was his wife, Judy Fredrick-Garner, who passed into heaven in June 2020. His second love was the cats that kept him company. His church was very important to him. He leaves behind his father and mother, Glenn Garner and Verna Garner, and surviving brother, Scott Garner and sister, Mary Phipps, and several nieces and nephews. His other Sister, Susan Holtzinger, has gone home in August 2020. Dennis's Celebration of life will be held November 18th, 2023, at 1:00 pm at His Tabernacle Family Church.
