I thought the apin would lessen and I wouldn't miss you as much but there hasn't been a day that has gone by where I haven't thought of you or missed you in some little way. I wish I could share with all the stories about the boys in the last 2 months. I know they would make you smile. It makes my heart ache knowing that they won't have you around. You truly were a very special person in my heart and I have a special spot just for you. I can't wait till Olivia gets here so we can tell her all about you. I want you to know that we love you very much and we still miss you deeply. I promise to look out for Uncle Mark, Markie & Cindy, Ashley & Andrew, & especially Baby Olivia. I love you Aunt Sherry. God speed.

Dearest Mark and family, Our hearts are filled with sadness at the loss of your beloved Sherry. Words seem inadequate to express our sorrow. Although I didn't know Sherry, from reading the many messages that honored her life, I can tell what a remarkable wife, mother, and friend she was. Mark,Markie and Ashley, So extremely sorry for your loss. Sherry was an amazing mom! I think most of us can remember growing up just kids on a ball field and having the time of our lives! It didn't matter if it was baseball or soccer we were always out there and our moms just a cheering. I think she enjoyed trying to keep us all outta trouble...and sometimes a bit proud of the trouble we managed to stir up now and then too. Just wanted you to know you're all in our prayers and sherry will never be forgotten! Love yas!

Mark, I offer my deepest condolences to you and your family. May you find solace and comfort knowing that so many people have the Gee family in their thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. My friend, we grieve when our loved ones have passed. For the soberness they leave us is almost unbearable. But in our grief we remember all the laughter, happiness and silliness they brought us, with tremendous love. As your family continues to grow, you will find new happiness, laughter and imminent silliness within each other. May God bless you and your family and may you find peace in this despondent time. LL

Like all of the entries written here in honor of Sherry, I too have one in particular that I'd like to share with you, Mark. On July 11,1981 - I had the priviledge of being an attendant in your wedding. Everyone had arrived at the church on the night before the big day for rehearsal. That is, everyone was there except you. Needless to say, there was more than a little anxiety in the air. Within a short time you made it to the church and things were fine. I don't think you really ever knew how nervous, excited or jittery Sherry was. She was so proud to become your wife and couldn't wait to be a mom. Behind her beautiful pixie face, the huge smile and twinkle in her eye was a skinny little girl who was ready to take on the world with her new name - Mrs. Mark Gee and Mom. It's been a short 27-years since that day but in that space you've squeezed a lifetime of memories...two wonderful children and soon a grandchild that will have the grace/honor/priviledge of carrying on her Grandmother's name. There's not a doubt in my mind that she too will have that beautiful pixie face, huge smile and that special little twinkle in her eye. My heart goes out to you because nothing can take away the pain that you're going through and the difficult decisions that you're making. One thing is for certain - Sherry Lee Gee will always remain in the hearts of her loved ones. As a classmate and friend - I will miss her dearly.

Aunt Sherry, Even though you are not considered my real aunt I feel as if you are and always will be. Everytime the Gee's had a get together you really put spunk into the party. I loved hearing all of Uncle Mark's and your Texas stories. Also the first time I met you, I learned right there how much you really wanted grandkids. And now Markie and Cindy are due for their first child, and I know you'll be watching over them the whole time. The last couple days I have heard many and many of stories of you with the soccer boys. And by the sounds of it you're one of the reasons why they are the great men they are. Last night as the whole family was at Aunt Kathy's and Uncle Mike's I sat on the porch for a couple minutes looking at the beautiful red sky with the smell of the fresh rain that fell. As I did this I thought of you up in heaven with many of the people who we love that have passed. And how I knew you were watching over us while we werer telling stories. You were such a great lady and you'll be missed forever in my heart. I love you Aunt Sherry. Love, Marsha Heck

Her wonderful spirit, love for you and your children, and life itself, still lives on, but in a different way.I greive with you because that light in your life is no longer physically here for you to touch and my heart aches for you. How can I not begin this with a big thank you, but I wont. I will begin and end this small text to Sherry with a big I Love you! You and this wonderful family who opened the door to a perfectly strange, and may I say who barely could speak English, and made an enormous difference in his entirely life. During the time I spent with them them, i learnt to love this family as it was mine, and i can say the love was equal on their side too. Sherry was a phenomenal woman, who just did everything in her power to please everyone who was around her. How can I forget, the many afternoons that I arrived from school and found Sherry sitting there watching her soap opera and drinking her Pepsi after a long day at work. The memories are too much, but the pain is also big, I just wish I was there. I cannot help to think also on the Stone family, and their loss of an exceptional daughter and sister. Sherry will be never forgotten by me and I can say with no hesitation, by everyone who ever met her. I know she will be looking over everyone she loved specially her granddaughter who is on the way. And if Markie and Ashley allow me, I will end this with I love you Mom.

Sherry, I miss you too much already. I was looking forward to raising Olivia with your advice, love, and support. I have to admit that I was quite paranoid you would steal her from me each weekend, but I would give anything to have that paranoid feeling back. I have so many fond memories of you, especially how much you have always wanted a grandchild and you got me baby shower gifts for my bridal shower. I don't know how I will raise Olivia without your help, but I know that the family will help us through it all. I am sorry we weren't able to make you a grandmother sooner, but I hope you experienced joy when you felt the baby kick or looked at the ultrasound pictures. I will do my best to take care of Markie the way you would have wanted. I don't know where to begin in trying to help him heal from all of this, so your help would be greatly appreciated. I never knew how strong you were until those days we spent with you in the hospital, I hope Olivia has half of your strength! This experience has helped me learn how precious family time really is and to not sweat the small stuff. I hope Markie and I can make you proud. I promise to be a support to Ahsley in preparing for her wedding and for all of her future endeavors and I will try to do my best in supporting your husband through this difficult time. We miss you Sherry Cindy

Mark, Markie,Cindy,Ashley and Andrew~~ I have so many thoughts running through my head right now. Where to begin....all the soccer games, card games, camp fires, baseball games. Wild Wood, proms, Mark and Cindy's wedding and of course "Red Cat". I only wish I could have stayed and drank with you Sherry at Derek's graduation party. Mike and I were very glad that we "crashed" the reunion and had a chance to visit with both of you. If Mike had known your room number, you have gotten an old fashioned horning bee !! I will be forever thankful to your Sherry for treating my son as if he were your own....okay so no one holds a candle to your Markie, but you still made all the soccer boys feel right at home (oh the stories your walls could tell) Mike and I thought you two were crazy for driving to Denver for "a day trip" to see us, but we were so glad you did. I know how much you were looking forward to becoming a grandmother and oh how you would have spoiled her!! I am sure that Aunt Ashley will do her best to take care of that. Sure hope she inherits your laugh and eyelashes. I will forever cherish our little talks that we shared.....after a glass or two of our beloved "Red Cat". Thanks for letting me be a part of your life. Shelley

Sherry, I owe the rest of my life's happiness to you...if it wasn't for your move to El Paso, I never would have met the love of my life. I really enjoyed going camping with you, having you laugh at me when Ashley starts "beating me up", teaching me those new card games, making me steal those "free" Andes candies from the restaurant that one time and all the other time we spent together. Although you will not be here in person to be with Ashley and I on our wedding day or to see our future children...I know you will be there in spirit. To think that in just over a year from now and you would be my MOTHER-in-law. In these last few days of being in Tioga I have learned even more about your past (to include some pretty funny stories). Your life affected so many people's lives in a positive way. Well, I know you are up there in Heaven watching over all of us now...and some day we will all be together again. May GOD continue to bless you, your family and your friends. Love, Andrew

I love you, Mom. For me to say that I miss you would be an understatement... I feel like I need you here. I need my Mom. We need to have another Girl's Day Out and shop so we can spoil baby Olivia some more! You need to go with me to try on wedding dresses and be able to go inside the dressing room and help me put them on and laugh at me when they look absolutely ridiculous and smile when they look amazingly beautiful. You promised me you would make sure Olivia would be walking by my wedding day so she could be my flower girl! You always made sure we had everything we wanted... Now we need to step up and take care of each other more than ever. I will never forget our famous Girls Day Outs... We would go shopping EVERYWHERE! Oh how we loved our stiletto heels!! After shopping we would grab lunch, watch the latest chick flick, then get a few scoops of ice cream before we went home! Those days were always full of laughter! And that day dad and Andrew almost had to pick us up from jail... Who knew we would be getting the cops called on us from a salon?! Haha... You are a beautiful person inside and out. I'm getting told everyday how much I look like you and it's the best compliment I could ever receive! I know you're in heaven with Grandma Betty and Aunt Weenie drinking a Pepsi and smoking a cigarette. I will be the best Aunt to Olivia and will make sure she has everything she will ever need! And I hope my wedding will be what you expected it to be... You had pretty high standards for that day so who knows if that will even be possible. Ill make you proud though, Mom. I know youll be my angel watching over me. Thank you for the life you have given Markie and I... We love you so much, Mom!

My deepest sympathy to the family of Sherry and Mark Gee, our prayers are with all of you. Texas (ConMed) changed when Mark Gee became part of our family, he gave us a taste of PA, and of Sherrys fabulous cooking (Strawberry Pie). Mark would speak highly of his wife he called her his best friend. We all knew that he missed his home in PA, but also enjoyed Texas; he often traveled on the weekends with Sherry and visited more places than I will ever visit. I saw her picture everyday on Marks cubical , I felt she too was part of our family and dcor here. I will miss seeing her picture on his cube (desk), I am very saddened by this tragedy. There will always be a place here in Texas for the Mark Gee and his family. Sarah I. Perez

Mark, as you know I only met your lovely Sherry once when my wife and I ran into you at Sunland Park Mall, here in El Paso. I never had the pleasure of really getting to know her but I do know that she was one heck of a good cook! Your many years of marriage make her passing more difficult than anyone should have to endure but be comforted by the fond memories that you will always carry with you and carry on with your family and children as Sherry surely would want you to. This tragic event will certainly bring your good family closer than ever and you know that you made life-time friends here in Texas. I count myself as your good friend and offer my sincere condolences but most of all I want you to know that whenever you feel like calling, writing or are in town, you have a friend here. All your friends here at ConMed have you, your family and Sherry in our prayers. May Sherry rest in peace and may God give you the strength to make it through this difficult time. Sherry, I miss you so much hon. I need to touch you, hear you, see you some how. I just can not do it Sherry. Every time I lay down all I think of is you. How can I be alone now after so many years with you always here to hold and laugh with. I know Texas was a long way from family and remember how hard it was for so long, all we had was each other, but we both loved it so much by the time we got settled in. All those damn rummy games, I bet we played a million games. All the times sitting at the back patio throwing that tennis ball to abby, that was your favorite place of all, How she would jump in the pool it made you so happy. you were so happy there, if I could only get you back there now. You loved your house so much, you were so happy there. those 3 years sherry made us so close, all we had was each other everything we did, everywhere we went,we were together. I first fell in love with you in 1979 it was at your prom and i wasn't even your date ( sorry stoney) I can still see you running out to meet me, as me and alan crashed the prom. i asked you to go to the beach boys concert and we have been together ever sense. thats a long time to put up with my shit. that was just the first time i fell in love with you. i fell in love with you a hundred times sherry g. texas made us so close, so close. i just feel so bad hon for feeling so bad. how can i feel this way when you will never see the things we were going to share together. how can i feel so bad for me when you are the one who will miss our first grandchild and ashleys wetting. i feel so bad for feeling so bad. we did so much together, not together but side by side you know. washing the cars cleaning the house going to the store all the little things just gone. i am so glad we got to san diego. you always told me our honeymoon to canada just wasn't the real thing and i had to give you a real honeymoon. i am so glad we did the san diego trip for our 25th. you were on cloud 9 the whole time. always so pretty so happy that smile and laugh i love every part of you. its been a while but the soccer days were probably some of your happiest times. we always had a house full of kids and became so close with some of the best people we will every know, not people but our closest friends. you loved those boys no matter how bad they got and boy did they try to get into trouble. you always made sure they didn't. you were one of the toughest mothers i have ever seen when it comes to your children and sports and they loved you because of it. you were always doing for someone else. always going shopping and buying for your kids or me, i would ask what you got yourself and you would say that you didn't need anything. you were always doing and caring for someone else. the day we got your little race car. your eyes were like a little school girls. i asked if we really needed it or just wanted it. you say i guess we really don't need it and looked so sad. everyone knows what happen, your driving it around. i just could not say no to you and maybe looking back you had that all figured out all along. the best part of the day for you was breakfest, you loved bacon and eggs and oh how you love to cook. you could eat eggs 24/7 funny how we got on the subject of food. the people at conmed sure loved your treats. i dont know if you enjoyed cooking or the faces of people eating your food better. its a wonder i'm not any fatter than i am. hon I guess i have to end this letter now, i could sit here and write for ever. i was blessed to have loved you and to have you love me, sherry g. we didn't tell each other "love you" enough. i am so glad, so gald we told each other i love you that last night together and the last phone call we shared. i will hold that voice, that call in my heart for ever. i love you with all my heart sherry g Love ya Me

We were so saddened to hear of Sherry's passing. There are so many fond memories we have together when we were growing up. She will be missed. I know that Grandma Tongue and Betty are watching over her. We wish we could be there with you but please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you all.

Mark and Family, So sorry of the terrible tragedy, she was one fantastic girl and will surely be missed by all. We were so fortunate to be able to attend the class reunion and enjoy time with Sherry that we wouldn't normally have had. She was so happy and so full of energy, laughing and joking with all of us, even making comments as Steve and I were walking down the sidewalk at Lakeview to leave. Wish we could've stayed longer that night as we were all enjoying each other so much. She'll always be in our hearts forever. Annette & Steve Cobb

Our family will certainly never forget Sherry! Growing up when I would visit Grandma Tongue, I would somtimes get to go spend the night at my cousin Sherry's house! she taught me how to make fried zucchini, of course mine never came out the same! Yesterday when I was explaining to my 11 year old, Celia what had happened the first thing she thought of was how Mom and Sherry were dancing on a stool at my surprise 30th party and she fell off the chair! We laughed so hard that night. Last night, we had a thunderstorm and the first thing she thought of was "Sherry is moving into heaven mom". We'll miss you so much Sherry, and your granddaughter will carry your spirit with her always. We love you all.

Mose, my heart goes out to you and your family. Sherry will be painfully missed by me and many others. I feel so blessed to have spent time with Sherry at the reunion. It was like we were still in high school, we laughed so much. I wish now we would have stayed longer, laughed more and didn't have to say goodbye. Life is so precious you just never know if it will be your last goodbye. Sherry leaves me with incredible high school memories. My best to both the Gee and Stone Families through this painful time. I wish you all the strength. Much Love and hugs, Eileen

Aunt Sherry~ You will always live in our hearts and prayers. My Aunt is an angel, I know she'll never leave, She's watching me right now, She's the light that's guiding me. She was a fabulous woman, So beautiful, wise & true, It's for those very reasons, She's helping me get through. There's memories left in my heart, Because there she'll always remain. She'll be with me throughout my life, Until I see her once again. She was young in terms of nannies, In terms of knowledgeable Moms, But I know my cousins & I will remember her, Because she's our number one. She was my freind, my Aunt, She was like another Mom, She's the reason this was written, To thank her for all she's done. Not a day will go by, Where we won't spend a minute or even two, Thinking about all the times we shared, And everything she used to do. Our lives are not the same without her, For she touched all our hearts. That's why we will never forget, That's why we will never be far apart. Author Anonymous We love you and miss you Aunt Sherry.
