Obituary of Arthur D. Starkweather Jr.
Arthur D. Starkweather, Jr., age 74, of Osceola, PA, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Guthrie Corning Hospital in Corning, NY. He was born on April 15, 1949 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Arthur D. and Margaret (Ensworth) Starkweather. Arthur was married to Dawn (Enderle) Starkweather. He was a diesel mechanic and welder. Arthur was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Arthur also enjoyed his corvette, hunting, fishing, gardening, riding his four-wheeler, and working in his garage.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dawn; a daughter, Deanna (Sonny) Huyett of Nelson, PA; two sons, Scott (Carey) Starkweather of Elkland, PA, and Jeremy (Stacy) Starkweather of Magnolia, NJ; six grandchildren, Ashley (Christian) Siciliano of Osceola, PA, Brittany (Drew) Fish of Elkland, PA, Dylan Starkweather of Osceola, PA, Trinity Starkweather of Runnemede, NJ, Alonna Valentine of Elkland, PA, and Devon Valentine of Elkland, PA; two great grandchildren, Jayson and Elizabeth Siciliano of Osceola, PA; six siblings, Carolyn Carlton, Kathy Walbridge, Rose Ramsey, Dennis Starkweather, Mike Starkweather, and Angie Starkweather; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Starkweather; two sisters, Sharon White and Connie Schmouder; and a grandson, Justin Eager.
