Obituary of Craig Harmon Deitrich
Craig Harmon Deitrich, age 73, of Covington, PA, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at his home. He was born on January 31, 1950 in Nanticoke, PA, a son of Paul Franklin and Zelma (Harmon) Deitrich. Craig was married to Donna (Carey) Deitrich for 48 years. He was self-employed as a carpenter and attended Covington Baptist Church. Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, sporting activities when his children were growing up, coaching baseball, and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
Craig is survived his wife, Donna; two sons, Craig Michael (Tara) Deitrich of Bellefonte, PA, and Todd Eric Deitrich of Canton, PA; six grandchildren, Christopher, Mariah, Summer, Gabby, Dalton, and Mikayla; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Tina) Sholes of Williamsport, PA, and Dennis (Christine) Deitrich of Harrison, AR; and two sisters, Paulette Harry of Monroeville, PA, and Janice (Steve) Smith of Cogan Station, PA. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Paul Deitrich; and a brother, Barry Deitrich.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:00am at Covington Baptist Church 2121 N. Williamson Rd. Covington, PA with Pastor Adam Periera and Pastor Dennis Rew officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Covington Baptist Church. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
