Obituary of Dorothy R. Grego
Dorothy R. Grego, age 82, of Morris, PA, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, July 19, 2008 at her daughters home in Wellsboro, PA. Dorothy was born August 16, 1925 in Roxborough, PA, a daughter of Edward and Frances (Utwiller) Swartley. She was married for 56 years to Paul Grego, Sr. who passed away on July 31, 2007. Dorothy was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Morris, PA. She was a member of the Sebring Grange and the State and National Grange. Dorothy enjoyed her family, farming, woodworking, painting, and was very involved in church and community activities.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Paul Grego, Jr. of Mansfield, PA; four daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Rogers of Montoursville, PA, Jean and David Shultz of Wellsboro, PA, Nancy and Jim Kreger of Morris, PA, Sue Ellen Grego of Bellefonte, PA; six grandchildren, Joe Grego, Zachary and Jennifer Kreger, Chad and Lisa Shultz, Kelsey Rogers; and one great granddaughter, Seleta Grego; one sister, Helen Rowley of NC. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Paul Grego, Sr., a brother, Robert Swartley, a granddaughter, Kimberly Rogers who died in Flight 800.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Morris, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the calling hours at the church with Rev. David Shultz and Pastor Keith Diehl officiating. Family and friends are invited to stay at the church following the memorial service for a time of fellowship. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will provide the flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothys memory to the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 41, Morris, PA 16938. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jacquelyn A.
