Obituary of Christopher Lloyd Bice

Christopher Bice, age 34, of Blossburg, PA, passed away due to a brief illness, on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born on August 12, 1989, in Norfolk, VA, a son of James and Tammy (Schoonover) Bice. Chris was the husband of Trisha (Brimmer) Bice. He worked as a laborer at Ward Manufacturing in Blossburg, PA. Chris was the most amazing, smart, outgoing, funny, crazy, loving person anyone was fortunate enough to know. He lived his life to the absolute fullest. He was daring, caring and charming. He took pride in making others have a good day even if it was his bad day. He loved his family and was always the one to be there when you needed someone to understand or listen. Chris lived his life as the adventure it was meant to be, telling many crazy stories about it and leaving many people with stories to tell. He cherished his family, his mom (Tammy Bice) was his best friend, his dad (Jim Bice) was his hero, his gram (Bonnie Holmos) was what he lived for, and his grandmother (Freda Bice), his brother (Payden Bice) is who he wanted to be and looked up to, his aunt and uncle (Robert and Des Holmos) and his nieces (Makayla Ribble, and best friend, Alexie Holmos, Skylie Holmos, Xaylie Holmos) were a huge part of his life, holding half his heart. His rock and closest things to sisters (Crystal Seeley and Star Smith) were his saving grace who meant the world to him and went above and beyond to be there at any cost, and he couldn't have lived without them. He fathered and deeply loved all his children (Kayden, Elijah, Amara and Exzavyer) and was proud of them. He loved his children whole-heartedly. Chris would give his shirt off his back to anyone he knew was in need. When you met him, you felt as though you knew him forever. He never judged anyone, nor did he ever let their faults get in the way of finding their greatness. He lived his life for the faster things, the wilder things, the dangerous things. If it wasn't scary and an adrenaline rush, it wasn't worth doing! But most of all, he lived his life to make people laugh and feel important and loved. Only so many were lucky enough to say I really knew him, and I will never forget him. So many are lucky enough to say when I think of him, I laugh, and my day is better and it makes me always smile. Life is an adventure and only sometimes you get lucky enough to come across somebody who changes your world and is so unforgettable that no matter how much time you had with them it would never be enough. Chris loved playing music on his guitar, getting and giving tattoos, and just enjoying life. Friends and family are invited to call from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
