Obituary of Ralph D Campbell
Ralph Daniel Campbell age 83 of Pine City, NY passed away on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. He was born March 26th, 1940 in Elmira, NY., a son of Richard George and Naomi Beatrice (Seymour) Campbell He was a graduate of Troy High School and NY. School of Cosmetology. He owned and operated his own hair salon in Tampa, Florida called "La Carriage Salon" and later continued as a hair stylist for other salons. He spent the last 50 years living in Tampa, FL. He was a spiritualist and member of the Church of Infinite Spirit in Elmira, NY. Ralph had a passion for singing, dancing, and working out as well as loving his cats. His most beautiful song was a tune by Ray Price called For the Good Time. For one last time, please YouTube this tune, close your eyes, and sing along with him as he says goodbye. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed going to the movies with family.
Ralph is survived by his sister, Shirley (Ed) Webster of Mansfield, PA; and many nieces and nephews whom he adored. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Betty E. Taber and two brothers, Donald and Raymond Campbell.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 1pm at Church of Infinite Spirit 251 Schuyler Ave. Elmira, NY with Reverend Sharon Lee Hairston officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601, or an animal shelter of one's choice.
