Obituary of Carol Lee Leber

Carol Lee Leber, age 69, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at her home. She was born on September 27, 1953 in Trenton, NJ, a daughter of Vincent and Irene (Deneski) Riley. Carol was married to David Leber. She was a field coordinator for AFLCIO Labor Union and was a member of the Vineyard Church in Wellsboro, PA. Carol enjoyed dogs, hiking, kayaking, drawing, skiing, camping, painting, the outdoors, and her church community and mission trips. Carol is survived by her husband; two sons, Dennis (Maria) Leber of Ellicott City, MD, and Matthew Leber of Perry, GA; a daughter, Becky (Mike) Murdock of Middlebury, PA; her dogs, Ellie and Brea; six grandchildren, Chase, Mason, Miranda, Katie, Hailey, and Paige; a great grandchild, Lachlan; unofficially adopted children, Tally, Tiki, Joe, and John; and a sister, Florence (Jim) Brogan of Trenton, NJ. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Vineyard Church 45 Charleston Rd. Wellsboro, PA.
