Obituary of Walter J. Huggler
Walter J. Huggler age 86 of Mansfield, PA died Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. He was born on November 28, 1936, in Blossburg, PA, a son of Lee and Mary (Krihovsky) Huggler. Walter was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He retired from Osram Sylvania in Wellsboro, PA and was a member of the NRA.
Walter is survived by his companion Cora Hakes of Mansfield, PA and her family; 3 nephews, Ed Watkins of Wellsboro, Rick (Gail) Watkins of Liberty and Walter Watkins of Wellsboro. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; a brother, Ronald Huggler; and a nephew, Tom Watkins.
As per Walter's wishes a private burial will take place in Shumway Hill Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA. Burial will be under the direction of the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S Main St. Mansfield, PA. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com.
