Obituary of William Dobson

William "Bill" Dobson, age 86 of Liberty, PA, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Bill was born January 8, 1937 in New Jersey, a son of Josiah and Edith Dobson. He retired from Ward Foundry where he worked in the maintenance department. Bill was a member of Harvest Family Fellowship in Liberty, PA, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a proud Army veteran and served in the 101st Airborne. Bill is survived by his children Donna Dobson of Blackwood, NJ, Bill (Kathy) Dobson of Liberty, PA, Janice Adamovic of Bellefonte, PA, Teri (Brad) Wilson of Wellsboro, PA, and Joel (Tirsa) Dobson of Liberty, PA, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Anne Dobson, daughters Patricia Dobson and Sharon Beale, sister Christina Fest, and grandsons Dustin Dobson and Jason Dobson. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Harry J. Colegrove officiating.
