Obituary of Marletta Burrows

Marletta "Marty" Burrows, age 70, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was born on December 26, 1952, in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Kenneth and Ruth (Padgett) Stone. Marty was the wife of the late David A. Burrows. She worked as a manager at Kwik-Fil for 20 some years and enjoyed fishing, painting, A&W hot dogs, going to thrift stores, waterfalls, flowers, playing penny poker, Tioga Farmer's Market, chicken barbeques at Pag-Omar's, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Marty is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Jay) Henderson of Sayre, PA; granddaughters, Jennifer (Cass) Henderson and Katie (Larry) Henderson; great grandchildren, James, Bentlee, and Sammy;three sisters, Cindy (Steven) Neally, Rosealyn Holley, and Connie Putnam; nephews, Brett Neally, Gordon Holley, Robbie Putnam; two nieces, Melanie Hillman, and Wendy Padgett; grandnephew, Gabriel Neally; grandnieces, Hannah Hillman, Kaelea Neally, and Alaina Satterly; special friends, Donna, Bev, Greg, Scott, Gweny, Shannon, Brandi, Denise, Susie, and Gene; special friend and cousin, Rhonda; her very special little girl, Eliza "Bean" Satterly, and "my boy", Kyle Roe; and special fur friend, Mira. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard and Blanche Padgett, and Carl and Fannie Stone; her parents, and her husband. In keeping with Marty's wishes, there will be no services.
