Obituary of Clifford Gutekunst

Clifford Gutekunst, age 92, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Woodbrook Assisted Living Facility in Elmira, NY. He was born on March 3, 1931, in Allentown, PA, a son of Martin and Suzanne (Kemmerer) Gutekunst. Clifford worked at Spirax Sarco for 39 years. During his time there he was in charge of the engineering department and was also the president of the Spirax Credit Union where he really enjoyed giving loans to young couples. Clifford was a member of the Haush Lodge #1 Hunting club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with the guys at deer camp. Clifford is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Shannon Gutekunst of Millerton, PA; grandchildren, Jason, Morgan, Courtney, Lindsay, and Alexander; great grandchildren Jayden, Avery, Allie and Julia. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clifford Gutekunst, Jr; daughter, Bonnie Becker; brothers, Martin, Donnie and Jackie; and sisters, Lois, Phyllis and Suzie.
