Obituary of Sara Mae Brewer
Sara Mae (Marvin) Brewer, age 93 of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away at her home on Monday, May 15, 2023. Sara was born May 7, 1930, in Elmira, NY, a daughter of Alvin and Gertrude (Thomas) Marvin. Sara was the wife of the late Burdette Brewer, with whom she celebrated 75 years of marriage. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, drawing, flower gardening, and bird watching. Sara is survived by her son, Randy (Ann) Brewer of Lawrenceville PA; daughter Connie (Henry) Stiles of Lawrenceville PA; and grandchildren Eric, Emily, Brian, Brad, Bethann, and Cheryl. She was preceded in death by her husband Burdette and sisters Betty Bird and Ruth Manguis. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 5-6pm at Seventh Day Adventist Church 14677 Route 6 Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 6pm with Pastor Mark Cockerham officating. Memorial donations may be made to the Adventist Disaster Relief Association, 12501 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Springs, MD 20904. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
