Obituary of Donald Dean Bentley
Donald Dean Bentley, age 62, of Mainesburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at his niece, Denise Davey's, home in Mansfield, PA. He was born on October 24, 1960 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Donald Earl and Margaret Jane (Welch) Bentley. Donald was a floor manager at Lowe's and was a member of State Road Baptist Church. He enjoyed picking on people, hunting, fishing, camping, and working on cars. Donald was a member of Tower Hill Hunting Club, Wild Turkey Federation, and Keystone Elk Country Alliance.
Donald is survived by his wife, Cheryl Bentley; a son, William (Elizabeth) Butterfield of Lawrenceville, PA; a daughter, Anna (Yohann) Potier of Boston, MA; four grandchildren, Connor, Maria, Owen, and James; a brother, Duane (Diane) Bentley of CO; two sisters, Donna (Richard) Davey of Mansfield, PA, Connie Schappell of Kenneth Square, PA; best friend and cousin, Scottie Smith of Mainesburg, PA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Richard Lee Bentley.
Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 12-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Sherri Butters officiating. Burial will take place in State Road Cemetery in Mainesburg, PA.
