Obituary of Charles E. Varner

Charles "Chuck" E. Varner, age 60, of Covington, PA, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital. He was born on June 28, 1962 in Steubenville, OH, a son of Robert and Eleanor (White) Varner. Chuck was married to Deborah "Debbie" (Toothaker) Varner for 35 years. He was a chef for Ladden Food Services and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Chuck is survived by his wife; eight children, Nikole Varner of Covington, PA, Kyle (Michelle) Varner of Van Etten, NY, Amy Varner of Mainesburg, PA, Delaney Varner of Elmira, NY, Dominick Varner of Westfield, PA, Damion Varner of Covington, PA, Paul Brandon of OH, and Briana McBride of Wellsburg, WV; five grandchildren, Skyler, Liana, Landen, Nathan, and Greyson; and a brother, Leonard (Lorie) Varner of Beech Bottom, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mona Holden; and a brother, Robert Varner. A celebration of life will be held on June 24, 2023 at 2:00pm at Scenic View Camp Ground 283 Scenic View Dr. Tioga, PA. Memorial contributions can be made to Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA to assist the family with expenses.
