Rose was a valued member of our Class of ‘52…she was our Senior Class President. On a personal note, Rose and I were good friends. We had our first babies 3 days apart. Rusty was born on Sunday, Sept 25, and Len was born on Wed Sept 28. We shared many play dates in the early days of their lives. Our friendship lasted through the years…oh and yes, we almost always got together when she baked her delicious chocolate cake! I have missed my friend for a long while and will continue to miss her until we meet again. RIP my dear friend and friend of members of the Class of ‘52!

Rest in Peace Aunt Rose with your beloved Uncle Lenny. You are forever in our hearts and minds. I will always remember the one-on-one cooking lessons you shared with me:. One of my favorite Homemade Noodles for soups, and for chicken & dumplings. You made the best homemade chocolate cake & Polish Placek Bread. Every time I make these recipes and share them with family & friends, we will be celebrating you. Love to a sweet Angel Aunt Rose from your Nephew and his Wife Mike Rumsey & Diane Austin Rumsey

Aunt Rose is one of my favorite relatives. I loved her sense of humor and down-to-earth way of looking at the world. She was loved by all of us and heaven has gained another angel. Heaven’s gain is our loss.
