Obituary of Michael Stratton
Michael "Bubba" Stratton, loving husband, father, son, brother, age 45, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1977 in Troy, PA, a son of Lois (Meeker) Thompson. Bubba was married to Jannis (Hess) Stratton. He was a crane operator for Nine Energy and a lifetime member of Middlebury Fire Hall. Bubba was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
Bubba is survived by his wife, Jannis; mother, Lois Thompson of Rome, GA; a son, Tukker Reed Stratton of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter, Haley (Christopher Keays) Stratton of Milesburg, PA; a grandchild, Eden Alice Keays; a brother, Anthony (Kim) Stratton of Rome, GA; and a sister, Laura Stratton of Rome, GA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eldon "Red" Meeker and Ella Meeker.
Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 12-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Kristi Webster officiating. Burial will take place in Niles Valley Cemetery in Middlebury, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
