Obituary of Jefferson Fogelsonger
Jefferson "Jeff" Fogelsonger, age 76, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away at his second home in Florence, AZ, on Monday, March 6, 2023. He was born on August 5, 1946, in Elmira, NY, a son of LaVere and Dorotha (Webster) Fogelsonger. Jeff was the husband of Betsy (Gourley) Fogelsonger. He was a loving father, grandfather, and devoted husband. He was known for his wit and sense of humor and always had a rebuttal when needed.
Jeff worked 46 years as a millwright, a field service representative setting up compressors internationally and domestically, on site; and taught customers and employees wire alignment for both Ingersoll and Dresser-Rand Corporations. He had the opportunity to travel internationally with his job and continued to enjoy traveling in his retirement. He was able to visit almost every state in the union. Jeff was a lifetime member of the Harley-Davidson Harley Owners Group. Riding motorcycles was a lifelong passion. Being a gun collector and enthusiast, he was also a member of the NRA. He enjoyed woodchuck hunting, reloading, and target and clay shooting. He enjoyed poker night with the boys, and various other card games with his family and especially his granddaughter Audrey.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Betsy; son, Jason (Roxie) Fogelsonger of Wellsboro, PA; daughter, Leslie Fogelsonger of Lindley, NY; granddaughter, Audrey Fogelsonger; brother, Charles Fogelsonger of Spring Hill, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Gayle Clark.
In keeping with Jeff's wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
