Obituary of Lyle Deitrick

Lyle Deitrick, age 48, of Liberty, PA, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 28, 1974 in Troy, PA, a son of Billy Duane and Donna (Stock) Deitrick. Lyle was married to Kristin (Spencer ) Deitrick. He was a truck driver for Glen O. Hawbaker, Inc. Lyle was a 32 year life member of the Liberty Volunteer Fire Department and was a past assistant chief. He was also a member of the Liberty VFW and coached Liberty Little League for 15 years. Lyle enjoyed watching and coaching sports, hunting, spending time with kids, helping the community, Washington Redskins, and Philadelphia Phillies. Lyle is survived by his wife; his mother; two sons, Blaze Deitrick of Liberty, PA, Brock Deitrick of Liberty, PA; a daughter, Brooklyn Deitrick of Liberty, PA; a brother, Paul Deitrick; three nieces, Crystal Deitrick, Bella Spencer, and Laurie Ackroyd; two nephews, Caleb Deitrick, and Andrew Spencer; two sisters-in-law, Lori Deitrick, and Amanda Spencer; a brother-in-law, Shane Spencer; many friends; two dogs, Mya and Shea; and a cat, Callie. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Bill; a sister, Lisa; and his grandfather, Glen Dierich. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 1-3pm at Liberty Church 8692 Route 414 Liberty, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 3pm with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Burial will take place in East Point Cemetery in Liberty, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
