Deb was born in Wareham, Massachusetts, to James and Glenda Bogaczyk on May 16th, 1958. She attended North Penn high school and graduated in 1976. She went on to earn a degree from Mansfield University and then worked as a teacher at her alma mater for 35 years where she was a mentor and coach as well.
Always 'Blossburg Proud', she was an active member of the community serving several organizations including Kiwanis, and the Island Park Pool Committee. As a family consumer science educator, she was a strong advocate for giving her students valuable life skills they could apply outside of the classroom. She also coached and was an avid fan of all Panther' sports.
Deb is survived by her husband, Jeff Everett, her son, Jeffrey Everett, her daughter, Lindsay (Brandon) Kutz, her granddaughters, Cameryn and Kacey Kutz, her sister, Carol (Steve) Young, her brother, Phil (Diane) Bogaczyk, her brother, James (Kris) Bogaczyk II, and her sister-in-law, Debbie Bogaczyk.
Deb is preceded in death by her parents, James and Glenda Bogaczyk, and her twin brother, Dennis 'Dutch' Bogaczyk.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent on behalf of Deb to the Island Park swimming pool. Please mail donations to the Blossburg Borough, 241 Main Street, Blossburg, Pennsylvania, 16912, with the memo, "Everett pool donation".
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the medical personnel and facilities who helped with her battle against cancer the last three years. We would also like to thank all the family and friends who have shown support and love.
