Obituary of Howard Raymond Page
Deacon Howard Raymond Page, born in Roaring Branch, Pennsylvania, 27 May 1936, and resident of Hudson Florida, passed away on 5 February 2023, at the age of 86. A child of the Great Depression, Howard grew up during the trials of WWII. A natural athlete, he loved playing sports, especially football, while later in life, he became an avid fan of the Little League and College World Series. Howard enlisted in the US Air Force in the mid-1950s and married the love of his life, Joan Boinski, shortly after. This started their 65-year partnership as adventurers! Howard’s military career included a tour in Thailand supporting the war effort in Vietnam and concluded with an honorable retirement after 20 years of proud service to the nation. That service to the community continued when he became a deacon in the Catholic Church, serving parishes in Pennsylvania and Florida. Howard is survived by his wife, Joan, his sister Dorothy Kendrick, his brothers Harold, and Paul, as well as five of his six children and their spouses: Marty & Pam; John; Tim & Cynthia; Joan & Bobby Stone; and Ray & Penny. He took tremendous pride in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and saw them as the greatest legacy a man could ask for. Howard is now reunited in heaven with his father, Raymond, his mother Pauline, his brother Chuck, and his second oldest son Donny. In honoring Howard's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
