Obituary of Jamie Lee Nagy
Jamie Lee Nagy, age 40 of Tioga, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at UPMC Williamsport, PA. Jamie was born March 9, 1982 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Phillip and Brenda (Knapp) Nagy. Jamie was a lifelong farmer and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, PA.
Jamie is survived by his wife Rhonda (Wood) Nagy of Tioga, PA; daughter, Gabby Nagy of Tioga, PA; parents Phillip and Brenda Nagy of Middlebury Center, PA; brother Lewis (Amanda) Nagy of Tioga, PA; sister Heather (Chris) Shelmire of Wellsboro, PA; maternal grandmother Betty Dilly Knapp of Lawrenceville, PA; brother-in-law Geoffrey (Jolene) George of Mansfield, PA; along with nieces and nephews Madison, Brayden, Braxton, Bryan, Adaline, Mason, Colton, Isabella, and Xander. Jamie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Wilma Nagy, maternal grandfather Thomas Knapp Sr., and brother-in-law Cory George.
He enjoyed fishing, coloring, spotlighting, driving tractors, 4 wheelers, and being outside. He loved his family, especially his daughter Gabby, and special canine companion and best friend Mecoe.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Harry Adlar officiating.
