Obituary of Trudy D. Hunt
Trudy D. (Colegrove) Hunt, age 75 of Tioga, PA, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Trudy was born February 13, 1947 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Harry J. and Mazie (Schoonover) Colegrove. Trudy was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Tioga where she served as past president of the United Presbyterian Women's Association. She worked early in her career as a hairdresser, and then as a cook for Mansfield University and Kingdom Inc. She was a member of the Tioga Red Hat Society and enjoyed cooking, camping, singing, the outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Trudy is survived by her partner, Joy Enderle; sons William (Nicole) Hunt of Coudersport, PA and John (Amber) Hunt of Guilford, VT; grandchildren Liam, Aliya, Anna, Mazie, and Joan; brother Harry L. (Angie) Colegrove of Morris, PA; Sister Debbie (Jim) Button of Ocala, FL; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hunt, and sister Mary Troyan.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10-11am at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 11am with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, PA. Memorial contributions can be made to American Parkinson Disease Association PO Box 61420 Staten Island, NY 10306.
