My deepest condolences to all of you. I grew up in St. Marie Goretti Church and School. Anthony was in my younger sister, Jackie's, class. I didn't know the family well but when I met Carolyn in her coffee shop up here in Mansfield, of course I recognized her name. She became an integral part of this community.

We had the pleasure of meeting this lady and she was very pleasant and then we felt like we knew her for a long time. Such a nice lady. We extend our sympathy to all the family. We hope that the fond memories of happier days will help to ease your sorrow.
Sincerely,
Wayne & Mary Anne Reisler

Forever my 2nd mom because in SMG, we had our moms and all of the other moms in our classes that were, also, our "village" moms! However, Mrs. Folcarelli was my amazing 2nd mom (next to my mom). I could go and talk to her about anything and never would Mrs. Folcarelli look at me and judge me for the questions I would ask as a youngster or tween. I am forever grateful to Mrs. & her hubby (rip) Mr. Folcarelli for their loving care of me and my family and friends. God lucked out big time. xoxox Colleen

Thank you, Colleen. We all shared many wonderful times with our St Marie Goretti village of families joined together. Those were the days, and we will all cherish those eight years together, as is exhibited by the fact that we are all still in touch today, 55-60+ years later! Many of us started out in first grade together in 1961. Thank you for being among my oldest forever friends. ❤️ Our Moms were such good friends over the years and our families shared many wonderful memories together.

One of my favorite memories is the week after Thanksgivings, when she would open her home to me and my dad for deer season. I’d spend the day running the hills with my dad and the evenings were filled with incredible food (pizza I remember the most), a lot of family I enjoyed getting to know and her wonderful laugh. I always found ladybugs in her house too. I always looked forward to that trip.

Becky! Thank you for sharing this wonderful memory! I love it and I have those same memories myself! Ah…running the hills…picking up rocks with snakes under them…crossing the creek by foot and, of course, topping it all off with the fabulous pizza for dinner—as many slices as we could eat! Somehow, I never knew this about you because you came after my time, after I moved away. I appreciate your sharing this special time with us here now.
