Obituary of John Joseph Clarkson Jr.
John Joseph "Jack" Clarkson, Jr., age 71, of Westfield, PA and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of John and Marilyn (Gager) Clarkson. Jack was the husband of Sherry (Tilley) Clarkson. He was an Army veteran. Jack worked as a painter for the City of Philadelphia and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Jack is survived by his wife, Sherry; daughters Jacklyn (Ray Zaragoza) Clarkson of Amsterdam, NY, and Amy (Frank Bilarrial) McNally of Philadephia, PA; a son, John (Anna) Clarkson of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Vincenzo, Anna, Timmy, P.J., and Joe; brothers Ronald Clarkson of Philadelphia, PA, Robert Clarkson of Townsend, DE, and Daniel Clarkson of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Christine (Ray) Colyar of Townsend DE, and Debbie Clarkson of NJ, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Burns; brother, Michael Clarkson; sister, Karen Clarkson; sister-in-law, Donna Clarkson and brother-in-law, Gail Burns.
