Obituary of Roberta J. Dixon
Roberta J. Dixon, age 87, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on July 12, 1935, in Lodi, NY, a daughter of Robert and Doris (Smith) Tillotson. Roberta was the wife of Leland Dixon. She worked at Corning, Inc. and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wellsboro, PA, and the Arnot Sportsmen's Club in Arnot, PA. She enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, camping, and watching NASCAR.
Roberta is survived by her husband; her children, Theresa (John) Allen of Wellsboro, PA, Butch (Eva) Otis of KY, Andrea (Steve) "Sue" King of Covington Township, Steven (Lynne) Otis of Wellsboro, PA, Tami Dunlap of Johnsonburg, PA, Leigh Bennett of Corning, NY, Joseph Dixon of Corning, NY, and Leland "Kip" Dixon, Jr. of Corning, NY; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Ursala) Tillotson, Jr., of Germany, and Bill (Sandy) Tillotson of Wellsboro, PA; sister Sherry Brooks of Wellsboro, PA, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kimberly Otis, a brother, Paul Tillotson, and a sister, Viola Gorda.
