Obituary of Edward C. Patterson
Edward C. "Ed" Patterson, age 84 of Tioga, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Williamsport Hospital. Ed was born February 22, 1938, in Tioga, PA, a son of Raymond and Velma Patterson. Ed served in the US Army Reserves and worked for Ingersoll Rand. He was a lifetime member of the Tioga Volunteer Fire Department, was a member of the Tioga Sportsman's Club, served as a Tioga Township Supervisor, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Ed married the love of his life, Lila (Shelman) Patterson on July 10, 1957, and enjoyed 51 years of marriage until her passing in 2008.
Ed is survived by his son, Randy (Sue) Patterson of GA; grandchildren Garrett Patterson and Morgan Patterson; brother Donald (Louise) Patterson of Tioga, PA; and sister Arlene (Gerald) Price of Knoxville, PA. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Lila, son Eugene Patterson, brothers Leonard Patterson and Richard "Dick" Patterson, sisters Geraldine Lehman, Sharon Loucks and Peggy Loucks.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 South Main Street, Mansfield PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00PM with Rev. Harry J. Colegrove officiating.
