Obituary of Shirley M. Strong

Shirley M. Strong, age 87 of Mansfield, PA, passed away at her home on Friday, October 28, 2022. Shirley was born on March 22, 1935, in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Dee Vern and Marion (Reeser) Jackson. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed flowers, crossword puzzles, and word searches. Shirley is survived by her son Don (Penny) Strong of Mansfield, PA; daughters Penny (Tom) Jenny of Roseville, PA, Cathy (Randy) Frost of Florida, and LuAnn (LeRoy) Kennedy of Middlebury, PA; brother Bob Jackson of Mansfield, PA; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Don Strong, brother Vern Jackson, Jr., and great-grandchild Bradley Strong. A private family service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield PA.
