Obituary of Julia Farr

Julia Marie "Judy" Farr, age 82 of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away in Bradford, NY on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Julia was born August 7, 1940, a daughter of Dallis and Margaret Wood. Judy was the wife of Jerry Lee Farr, with whom she would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on November 2, 2022. Judy worked as a nurse's aide at Arnot Ogden Hospital, and enjoyed volunteering for Haven of Tioga County and her local food bank. Judy is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Farr; son Barry Lee (Mindy) Farr of Williamsport, PA; daughter Fawn Marie Farr of Savona, NY; grandchildren Brett (Tara Horton) Leonard, Brandi (Nicky) Leonard-Hewitt, and BreOnna (Vinnie) Padgett; great-grandchildren Axle Padgett and Allaina Padgett, Keira Horton, and Joshua Horton; and sister Virginia Yocum of Kentucky. She was predeceased by her sisters Betty Fisk, Lillian Lewis, and Kitty White. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Calvary United Methodist Church Community Hall, 6 Franklin Street, Lawrenceville, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven of Tioga County, 48 East Avenue, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
