Obituary of Sandra Leonard
Sandra "Sandy" (Tripp) Leonard, age 66, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the Gatehouse Hospice Center in Williamsport, PA. She was born on January 20, 1956, in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Theodore and Rea (Wyscoff) Tripp. Sandy was married to the late James "Jimbo" Leonard until his death on November 8, 2013. She worked as a hospice nurse and enjoyed being with her friends and family, music, camping, and watching movies. Sandy was a member at Harvest Family Fellowship church in Liberty.
Sandy is survived by her son, Nick (Kristen) Leonard of Blossburg, PA; daughter Kelly (Mark) Dayton of Blossburg, PA; grandchildren Sky Dayton, Levi Dayton, Warren Dayton, Nicolas J. Leonard, and Gabriella Leonard; brothers Daniel (Susan) Tripp of Elmira, NY, and Scott (Cindy Smith) Tripp of Risingville, NY; sisters Rita Chambers of Campbell, NY, Kathy (Ronald) Leonard of Horseheads, NY, and Teddie Tripp of Cherry Flats, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Jimbo", sister Tammy Parthemer, and her parents.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Burial will take place in the Welsh Settlement Cemetery.
