Obituary of Diane Case

Diane (Taylor) Case, age 75, of Mansfield, PA, passed away at her home on Monday, September 12, 2022. She was born on June 14, 1947, in Annapolis, MD, a daughter of Joseph and Iris (Price) Taylor. Diane was the wife of the late Rev. Steven Case and served by his side in ministry for nearly 25 years. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Pennsylvania Savings Fund Society. Diane was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed taking care of the flower gardens around First Baptist Church in Mansfield. Diane loved children and was a classroom volunteer at Warren L. Miller elementary school. She was a gifted seamstress and made many of her own clothes, along with quilts, dolls, doll clothing, and counted cross stitch samplers. Diane is survived by her sisters, Sandra (John) Stankard of Oconomowoc, MI, and Linda (Nathan) Johnson of CA; nieces, Kristin Rousseau and Lauren Price; nephew, Connor Johnson, and four great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, 7 Sherwood St., Mansfield, PA, with Pastor Cheryl Filson officiating.
