Obituary of Gary A. Kane
Gary A. Kane, age 82, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2022 at the Carleton Care Home in Wellsboro, PA. He was born on January 8, 1940 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Walter and Edna Marie (Ferguson) Kane. Gary worked as a truck driver and enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Gary is survived by a special friend, DuWayne (Anna) Cavanaugh of Wellsboro, PA; two goddaughters, Jayanna Cavanaugh-Teeter of Wellsboro, PA, and Susan Cavanaugh Perrins of Wellsboro, PA; a great godson, William Teeter of Wellsboro, PA; and three brothers, Walter "Bud" (Marqueen) Kane of Wellsboro, PA, Richard (Marie) Kane of Wellsboro, PA, and John "Jack" Kane of MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sandra Marie Peake, and Joan Ann Kane Clemens.
In honoring Gary's wishes, there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
