Obituary of James J. Jumper
James J. Jumper, age 75, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 3, 1947 in Carlisle, PA, a son of Aaron Lester and Erma Romaine (Myers) Jumper. James was married to Sharon (Wertz) Jumper. James worked in management for High Mark Blue Shield. He was a member of the Morris Rod & Gun Club, Arnot Sportsmen's Club, Loyal Order of the Wellsboro Moose, American Legion, and Woodhouse Hunting Camp. James served in the United States Army.
James is survived by his wife; two sons, James Jeffrey Jumper of Ellenton, FL, and Jason Jumper of New Cumberland, PA; a stepson, Michael (Sheelya Hill) Haring of Nescopeck, PA; two stepdaughters, Rachel (Daniel) Rose of Wellsboro, PA, and Laura Faddis of Knoxville, PA; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Jeremy House.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 2-4pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 4pm with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Morris Rod & Gun Club 1668 Route 287 Morris, PA 16938.
